I am back to my coupon shopping again and have come across good deals especially at Walgreens!

As Usual life gets away from us

It has been 6 months since my last post and that is way toooo long.
In the last half year I have done plenty just haven't posted.
I have done lots of sewing (purchased a new sewing machine!), celebrated holidays and birthdays, went through a job position elimination, been redeployed to a new position (waiting to learn what that is still), had major surgery and now sitting home and healing for about 2wks longer.

Tuesdays deals

Schnucks Shopping Trip. All this cost me just $10.30 after coupons and sales.

Here is a picture of my receipt.

It wasn't my typical Tuesday shopping trip though. I just stopped at the one store on my way home from work. I usually got while my husband bowls but he ended up not going this week.

I am pleased with my trip though and hope to make another before the sales are over.

Shopping deals from Tuesday

My husband bowls on Tuesday nights so I try to turn that into my shopping night. I am near a lot more stores that what we live near, including Target.

So here is what I obtained this week from Target for only....

$9.61 including tax

And here is how I did it:

Bought:

1 Reynolds Slow Cooker liners: $1.87

2 Airwick I-Motion  for $6 each on sale= $12

2 Olay Body Washes $5.89 each = $11.78

2 Venus Disposable Breeze razor packs $5.99 each = $11.98

3 Dial hand soaps $1.37 each = $4.11

Total before coupons and tax: $41.74

Used Manufacturer Coupons and Target coupons:

$1 off the Reynolds liners = 0.87

$5 off Airwick x2 and a Target coupon for $1 off x2= Free

Free OLAY WYB Venus Razor pack x2 = Free

$2 off the Venus Razor x2 = 7.98

0.35 MQ off the Dial Soap and $1 Target coupon off dial soap x3 = 0.06

Total before tax: $8.91 + 0.70 $9.61

Now per my receipt it says Saved $59.09. So I am quite pleased with the sales and coupons combined.

I also hit up the grocery stores but it was late and I didn't take any pictures.

But I managed to spend $34.13 and here is what I got:

Powdered Sugar

2 bottles KC bbq sauce

Kashi Roasted Garlic snack crackers

Bag of Fruity Dyno Bites Cereal (Daughter had to have)

Peanut Butter

1lb Carrots

Total at Deirbergs: $8.89

3 Bottles Franks Hot Sauce

2 3lb bags of Chicken Breasts

2 bottles Ranch dressing

2.86lbs Apples

2 18lb bags of charcoal

4lbs of pork steaks

Total Spent at Schnucks: $25.24

I would break it all down but I won't bore you any longer. :o)

Walgreens/Target Shopping Trip

Here is how my trips went last night.

Walgreens #1:

Bought 4 Gillette Deodorants B1G1 50% off: 4.99x2 and 2.49x2

Bought 4 Gillette Body Washes B1G1 50% off 4.99x2 and 2.49x2

Total before coupons: 27.43

Manufacturer Coupons:

 $4off 2 deodorants x2

 Buy Deodorant get Body Wash free x2 (cashier took off full price for all body washes)

Total after coupons: 1.96 + 0.17 tax: $2.13

Total before sale and coupons was: $39.92. A very big savings!

Walgreens #2:

Bought 2 Always Infinity pads B1G1 50% off

Total: 4.99 + 2.49= 7.48

Manufacturer coupons:

$2 off 1 x2

Total After Coupons: 3.48 + 0.27 tax: $3.75

Total before sale and coupons: 9.98

Target:

Bought 2 Venus Spa Breeze disposable razors at 5.99x2

and 2 Olay Body Washes at 5.89x2

Total before coupons: 23.76

Manufacturer coupons:

$2 off 1 Venus Razor x 2

Buy Venus Razor get Body Wash free x2

Total after coupons: 7.98 + 0.63 tax: $8.61

Total Spent on all 3 trips: $14.49

Total Saved: $59.17

76.55% saved at Walgreens

My first coupon trip of the year and Walgreens had some good sales and in store coupons that matched up with Manufacturer coupons.

Here is my bounty from my trip minus a hairbrush set my daughter had to have.

So to break it all down.

4 packs of Stayfree pads. 6.29 each minus B1G1 Free Manufacturer Coupon and then minus $3 each store coupon = $0.58 total

5 packages of Finish Electrosol Gel Packs. 3.49 each minus $2.50 Manufacturer coupon and gained $1 Register Reward for each box (done is separate transactions) = $4.95 got back $5 in RR

2 Reach Floss 3.79 each minus B1G1 Free MQ and minus $2 each store coupon = 0.21 overage

2 Reach Total Care toothbrushes 3.99 each minus B1G1 free MQ and minus $2 each store coupon = 0.01 overage

1 Box of Always Infinite (daughter had to have) 4.99 no coupons = $4.99

1 Bottle of L'Oreal Paris Face Cleanser $6.99 minus $2.00 MQ = $4.99

1 tube of Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste $4.99 minus $1 MQ and $2 store coupon = $1.99

1 Goody Hair brush set (not pictured) $5.99

4 8oz jars of hunts tomato sauce 0.99 each minus 0.60 each store coupon = 1.56

Total before coupons: $85.09 and after coupons and Register Rewards and pre tax: $19.96 and still have $1RR left to use again.

I plan on going to get a few more deals later this week. I was thrilled for the savings and if my daughter hadn't been with me I would have less OOP (out of pocket). Gotta love kids though!
